Rudolph takes centre stage in Christmas show

The delightful Christmas story of Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer is told in the Taieri Dramatic Society’s Christmas show, being staged this month at Mosgiel’s Fire Station Theatre.

The play by Carl Nixon is directed by Matt Brenan, and features an enthusiastic cast of local performers. The show follows Rudolph as he travels through the North Pole to become Father Christmas’ most important reindeer.

Audience members can join in the fun, and try to help Rudolph save Christmas. Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer features an energetic assortment of anarchic arctic characters, including Jack Frost, a group of musical penguins called The Ice Girls and Elvis the naughty elf.

This is fast, fun-filled seasonal theatre for all ages.

Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeerwill be staged from December 21 to 23, at Fire Station Theatre, 3 Cargill St, Mosgiel. Performances at 2pm and 7pm.
