Violinist Jessica Hindin, one of the stars of Operatunity show “Waltz of My Heart” toured internationally for six years before returning to New Zealand.
After playing with entertainers such as Harry Connick jun, Hayley Westenra, and Elaine Page, Hindin was appointed musical director of Sistema Aotearoa in 2015.
The South Auckland-based music programme provides free orchestral musical education
for more than 400 primary school-aged children.
After Hindin and tenor Bonaventure Allan-Moetaua toured and performed together several times, romance sparked on Operatunity’s European Romance tour two years ago. Recently, while escorting a trip to Hawaii for Operatunity Travel, the couple became engaged.
The couple will make beautiful music together in Operatunity’s Waltz of My Heart show, which
is touring through 24 New
Zealand centres.
Song will include Blue Danube Waltz, The Skaters Waltz, City of my Dreams, Tennessee Waltz, I’m in love with Vienna, and more.
Waltz of My Heart Show is on at the Mosgiel Coronation Hall on Monday, January 30 at 11am.
