Minerals Forum protesters

About 150 climate-action protesters stood their ground outside the Dunedin Town Hall on Tuesday, as they blocked the entrances to prevent delegates entering the Minerals Forum. Protesters linked arms outside the entry points of the building, and one superglued their hands to the handles of the main hall door. Police attempted to get the delegates past protesters and into the building on several occasions. The conference started about 30 minutes later than planned.
