Reminisce and dip an oar in the water

North End Rowing Club will hold its 125th celebrations in October next year.
On Friday, October 20, 2017 evening drinks and nibbles at NERC will give you the chance to come and see the newly renovated clubrooms and catch up with new and old friends.
Come for a row with ex or current club members (or watch others row) on the morning of Saturday, October 21, 2017.
Get that old crew together and reminisce while out on the beautiful Otago Harbour.
A black tie dinner will be held in the Josephine Lounge at Toitu Otago Settlers Museum on the evening of Saturday, October 21, 2017.
In attendance will be two of North End’s most celebrated club members, Rowing NZ vice-patron Fred Strachan (QSM) and multiple world and two-time Olympic champion, Hamish Bond, who will both speak at the event.
The weekend’s celebrations will wrap-up with a morning tea at NERC on Sunday, October 22, 2017.
It doesn’t matter whether you rowed/coxed out of NERC for one season or 15 seasons.
It doesn’t matter if you left NERC last year or 50 years ago.
It doesn’t matter if you were a school, club or masters aged rower/cox, coach or administrator.
If you have been a member of NERC and their associated schools over the last 125 years then we want to see you in October 2017.
Keep an eye on the North End website and Facebook page for updated information. – We are using this opportunity to create a database of all our ex and current members.
