Fringe delights for opening night

Michelle A'Court

A riotous night of comedy, music, theatre, skits and more will launch the Dunedin Fringe Festival 2020 in style in the Polson Higgs Opening Night Showcase.

Hosted by Michele A’Court and Jeremy Elwood, the showcase will be held next Wednesday, March 18, from 7.30pm at the Regent Theatre.

The pair will introduce five-minute slots from a diverse range of artists set to appear in the fringe, giving a tantalising taster of what’s on the Fringe Festival menu.

A’Court and Elwood, who will perform in the Fringe after a sell-out tour across the country, will be joined on the showcase stage by fellow comedians Chris Parker, James Nokise and James Mustapic, along with musicians, queer cabaret, circus, and other fringe delights.

The event has an R16 rating.
